The first project of Mix Match – Unfathomability
It talks about how humans are a source of abundance, and how they are so much more than things that can be defined!
The project is a Mix Match of Poetry, Dance and Music.

The Story of Unfathomability goes something like this –
30 days in the making.
Summer of 2020 brought with it a lot of things, but most importantly it brought with it ample time.
My sister Tithi Gandhi and I (Lipi Gandhi) finally united again at my Nani’s place after a very long time, and decided to do something different!
Both of us being kathak dancers, first decided to make a simple dance video but then couldn’t seem to be very moved by the idea! Moreover, I wanted the first project of Mix Match to be phenomenal.
That was when the idea of combining poetry and dance came to me. So I started experimenting with different music and different poems that I had. But there was no match like ‘Unfathomability’ and ‘Instrumental version of with you’ by Raspo. After recording almost a dozen times, we had the perfect recording and we could start the choreography.
My sister choreographed twice but it won’t go very well or it would either draw all the attention to the dance (considering she is such an amazing dancer). Next, I tried choreographing, and after many failed attempts and numerous amendments by my sister we had the dance that matched our imaginations. Also, I was very happy that I was able to choreograph a Semi-Kathak x Contemporary that would go with the poem.

It took a total of 30 days but I would say it was worth it!
