BOOK REVIEW
The three wise monkey is a story about three friends named Amar, Akbar and Anthony. It’s a mystery, suspense and cliff hanger in itself
The three friend’s struggles to become a Chartered Accountant and their struggle to thrive as an honest CA in this “round world” has been emphasised quite skillfully.
Generally we don’t find a Chartered Accountant writing a book. Even though the book is a little surreal, it brings out the reality.
It is believed that after one becomes a CA, it’s just a cake walk to earn money.
Jeet Gian has satirically brought out the Corruption and deeds of Businessmen and Government Officials.
The metaphors and comparisons used by the author to describe each situation is just something a reader wants, it really deserves a thunder of claps.
Sometimes the situation described are puzzled up way too much and it might take away the reader’s interest, as sometimes the things have went overboard.
This book is something new to read. Whereas be it a love story, thriller or mystery they are rarely informative.
For the people belonging to non-commercial background this book is the best if you want to understand the complexities in lay man’s language.
Once you start the book, the pages flip away quickly. And it’s one worth reading piece of work. There is suspense, comedy, romance and mystery.
I personally enjoyed the book and would surely recommend it.
The book will surely make place on your bookshelf. ☺
